I have to brag on my wife Susan. Her watercolor "Angel for an Earthbound Family" has been excepted in the annual Watercolor Society of Alabama" show.
it will be on display along with other great watercolor artists works at the Birmingham Fine Arts Museum, downtown Birmingham, Alabama. the exhibition starts the week of Duck Soup! it will be showing for 2 months or so.
baby, i am so proud of you! you are the "real artist" in this family.

Sure is a lot of talent in that family. Very nice work on all fronts. Watercolor is one area I have stayed away from in my art work because there is no reworking the painting. Very nice.

You're a lucky man Mark Fair, and a proud one I can see. That's a dynamite painting from your wife, I would like to see it at the museum if it's possible, since I will be attending the famous Duck Soup Splatter at the same time. Also I enjoyed seeing your sign project of the church sign. You two make a great team!

Congratulations Susan, awesome work! The angel sure looks like your daughter, Katie, was she your model?
Not only is Susan a better artist than Mark, plus able to sing a lot better, she's ALOT better looking, has a better personality, prettier smile, better conversationalist, well I could on and on. Mark, you are a lucky guy!

Yep, really nice stuff. Congratulations. I've been to her site a few times. I also really like "Daddy Keeps on Plowing", and the diving airplane is just 'plane' cool.

Thanks everybody for the kind words of encouragement! It's nice to have so many friends! Yes, the angel in the painting is our daughter Katie. She has been modeling for me since she was 3, and she is my favorite subject. The reception is going to be at the Birmingham Public Library-2100 Park Place on Sunday, Sept 16 from 3:30-5:00 p.m. in the Gallery (not at the museum.) I hope to see you there!
