I just got a call from a guy I know from around the traps, he's got a quite large illuminated flex face to do and the cost of the vinyl is a bit prohibitive. A long time ago I did a big Coke mural on flex face using placticiser in acrylic lacquer, this worked pretty well and might be a worthwhile option, but that was a long time ago and there might be something better on the market now. Anyone had good experiences using a particular type or brand of paint on the stuff? Anyone know if Tautflex sprays and illuminates OK. Its just straight red text so the Tautflex appeals because the opacity is pretty low to begin with. All info appreciated, David

Dave, Tautflex sprays ok but you might try using some Tautflex Clear as well as the reducer in it. It would pay to try a sample panel first!
Another option is the Polyscreen Inks (available from Oxlades) thinned with GP thinners. They spray great. I use them on banners and tents all the time.
Best of luck mate!
