I need to find a manufacturer or supplier of a pourable plastic that hardens . I've seen this plastic in places like Spensers gifts that looks like spilled paint or soda. any help would be appreciated thanks! mike

i think that the stuff would be some kind of epoxy or resin that is diluted somehow to make it more pourable. i wonder if the t.c. resin would give you the effect that you are looking for. it is fairly liquid when mixed and does flow quite a bit. i think if you poured it over some kind of shape it would form what you are looking for.
i also wonder if fiberglass resin would fit the bill. my curiosity is piqued now... maybe i will made something to try it out when i get back from minnesota.
you all have a great one!

I looked it up they are the worlds largest supplier of plastics and urethanes....they will tell you who carries the product you need, because they are the manufacturer.
I was in your area over the weekend...just beautiful!

Take a look at http://www.smooth-on.com I'm not sure who the biggest company is, but this has to be one of them. They specialize more in casting compounds. I've used several of their products and have had great results. They sell many two part plastics rubbers and urethanes. I would have to know more about what you are trying to do to recommend a product, but they will send you a ton of samples if you request them.

Mike, I'm not sure if your are talking about the casting resin used by Chris Shuster or not...but he would probably be able to head you in the right direction.
