Over the last week or so I've had a heap of trouble with http. I originally put it down to my ISP but they tell me Telstra has had a major breakdown, something to do with dns Email, ftp and other protocols seem to work ok, anyone else been having troubles or is my ISP taking the liberty of BS'ing me? We had problems with our server last night. For over 3 hours, we were unable to get to the Letterhead/Pinhead Forum. When this happens, it usually means that the server computer in North Carolina needs to be rebooted. It took a few frantic calls to an answering machine before a human called back and rebooted the machine.

Thanks Steve, I noticed the site must have been having server trouble but my trouble has been across the board. No http at all about 50% of the time, cant access any sites at all. David

No problems up here, as far as I know, dave... But then, I've only been on the net a few times in the past few days... too much other stuff to do to be browsing, it seems

Hi Dave, I also have been having problems. Everything is fine one minute and then it all suddenly stops. I shut everything down and reboot and then it is fine for a while.

I have been having trouble for the last couple of weeks as well. My ISP said it was something to do with the phone lines so could be related to the telstra thing
