Cast my vote for royal purple - much more regal than blue. There's no problem with the red, but I personally lean more towards the burgundys. Vic G

I just love the Red White and Blue. I like that the blue and red vibrate against each other, as the white relieves the tension. The little yellow pinstripe would look better to me brighter than it is.
I too, know that purple bespeakes royalty in the Scriptures, but perhaps not to the 'man on the street'. Any way, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it. Dark colors just move me.

The gold on the purple lends itself to being viewed easier, as they contrast each other... although as the others have said, the kerning on the word truth needs to be changed so that there is more inter-letter spacing.
And the purple and gold will appeal to the younger age group, in terms of colouring, rather than the traditional (boring) colours of blue/red... I'm not saying that the other is boring, only that it wouldn't appeal as much to the younger target audience... And it appears as if it is meant to be doing that, looking at the fonts and design that you have opted for?
perhaps the gold pinstripe/border, could be just a tad thicker, to bring it forward? Not by much, just a little. Just a suggestion...
OK that was my ramble And if you understood all that to be true...... I've been spending too much time in art/graphics, learning bout the design elements ehehehehe

I like the purple and agree that the Truth needs space so the t will show.

I've learned - that it is hard to determine where to draw the line between being nice and not hurting people's feelings and standing up for what you believe.

Nice catchy look, Tasmus. And here are my preferences.
I like the blue but with the yellow Fellowship.
To me red on blue doesn't provide enough contrast. This particular message and text and red script say caution or alert, or something to that effect. The yellow just appears more friendly at first glance, which better suits the word friendly.
I also agree about the word truth re: extra kerning.
Re: purple vs blue, I don't have a whole big explaination for that one, other than, blue looks less like a cartoon, gives the message deeper meaning so to speak. Just my personal preference.
Thanks for the mini workshop. I love hearing why others pick what they do. Why is it so easy to critique other's work but not our own?!?!?
