I discovered I could put router bits in mine. It works great for rounding edges of wooden things..
I have the 4 speed with the light, it's called the "Revolution" and love it.
One thing I did which makes it easier to handle, is I made a base plate out of clear acrylic, and hot melt glued it onto the existing base. This helps keep it at right angles to the work you are doing, which is sometimes difficult if you are rounding edges on curved shapes.

I like my roto-zip too, had it for about 2 years, but I wouldn't put a router bit in mine, that is what routers are for LOL Bill PS it is great for precutting foam for the router table

Glad to learn that you can use router bits. The book says not to, but I have been tempted since I would be using it on HDU. I like the acrylic plate idea. Can't wait to try it.
