Just returned from a short Ocean City, MD vacation. While there, I shot some pix (shot on day & evening of 8/19) of the current sandsculpters on display in front of Plim Plaza. (2nd & Boardwalk) Our own Tasmus brought these to our attention back in July in a thread he called ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!!!!!! This is a small selection, I’ll post more after I catch up on some other issues.
And for “art” of a different kind….Ocean Gallery
Just above the front entrance there is a “sale” sign and just above that is a white sign that reads oceangallery.com. Within that sign there is a webcam that gives you a current view of the boardwalk and looks over towards the sandsculpters. And for those of you that have been to OC before, or for those that have heard about the famous “Ocean Gallery – Titanic” car, it is going for a big drink on September 21st. Yep, into the Atlantic she goes! It will become part of the fishing reef.
