WOW Geocob!!!! I knew that there were some cutters that would work with Corel directly but I never dreamed that a 4B would.

Tell us more!! Please.. How do you set up your Corel page, are there any specific setting that have to be changed on the 4B?

If Corel will run a 4B then it MUST be able to run darn near ANY cutter if the correct driver is installed.

I wish I had access to a whole bunch of different brands of cutters so I could play around with drivers and see just how to set up each brand to cut from Corel. Ain't technology great?

Dave,we set the huston driver to the com port and added it as a printer,we've tricked a few other plotters as well by setting in the hptl general talk and it works as well, from what i've found it seems there is only 2 basic langwages that is used to talk to the plotters ,so we set one or the other and it (USUALLY)works them you sometimes have to fudge then amite on occation but it does the job.BUT we have had a few mishapes a time or two as well.i have a friend that is pretty savoy and he fills me in on these great time and money saving tips.hope this helps you,we love our corel, but sure wish they hadn't raped it as they did after 4 had alot more features but the page size was a problem so we moved to 7,which is where i'm staying does all i need and don't lock or drop dead as some of them do only other thing we found that will really help is a bridge we use that has a lot of drivers that works out of corel 7 for us is co-cut we up graded once but it seems now they have a newer ver. but just like the rest of the softwear boys they want you next born for up grades,so i guess we make do with what we got.
