Forgive me if you already knew this or it may not aply to Flexi version 6 (I have 5.8). Did you turn the fonts on in Flexi and save your preferences? Could it be that you need ATM Deluxe instead of the A.T.M. on your system?

Just a note, when I went from my G3 to my G4 I had to upgrade ATM from 4 to 4.6 in order to work with OS9.1. I have ATM deluxe. The old ATM would not work at all with the G4.
