I have noticed alot of people here looking for info or fonts on the web. I use google.com almost exclusively when searchiong for something. They offer more info then almost any other search engine, have hardly any advertising, and I can almost always find what I need.
Just wanted to pass this along to you all ;-)

If you think those search engines are good, check out dmoz.org
That's the site for the "Open Directory Project", which is the database where most of the search engines look for their hits, including Yahoo and google. Yahoo uses google, which ultimately goes back to dmoz.org.
The best part is, if your site doesnt get listed with Yahoo, google or the other search engines, submit it to dmoz and it will show up on those engines. =)

For images, I use altavista. For other stuff, usually webcrawler.com, or yahoo... and I decided to do a couple of serches with the key word "jonsigns" the other day... just to see how it went a while after I submitted them to the search engines... and it came up well, in yahoo at least...
So those are the ones that I usually use!

My personal preference is called Copernic. It has the ability to search numerous search engines all at the same time and give you a nice relevant list of the results.
