Letterville is like no other on line community. We are getting to know other, their work and personalities.
When I read posts by the persons I have met at Letterhead meets, I improvise their voice pattern into the reading of the post. I guess what I am trying to say is that I can hear their voice speaking the words I am reading.
For example, I read The Mayor of Letterville's post on the Scottish event being held in his home town. As I read the post, I had a visual and voice interpretation playing out in my mind as I read the post...as if he were sitting across from a table telling me face to face, in person.
Does this, or, is this happening to anyone else?
What is starting to bug me the most is NOT being able to inflect the voice pattern into the reading of a post by some one I haven't met and I have no clue to what they look like.
I suppose this thread probably looks like a waste of bandwidth to the majority of you and silly to even more of you. I remember one time one of the Letterville family asked if they see "faces" in the shapes they look at in every day situations, becasue it was buging him, and come to find out through the replies to the post that a great number of peolpe seem to do that.
So, lash out at me if you want for wasting your time looking in on this thread, but I just had to get this off my brain! ------------------

Add note to chart... 1. Increase medication 20 mg, patient still halucinating. 2. Remove all sharp objects from room. 3. Limit access to computer.

Draper, I know exactly what you're speaking about, as I have similar experiences.
Years back, when getting to know a Canadian named Doug, as we shared both sign chat and personal stuff and relationship developed, I finally got to meet him. We both corroberated that we were who we thought we were. There wasn't any pretence, the internet relationship was real.
There are many that I nkow here that I've not net face to face, but when we do meet in that manner, soon the novelty of accents will be history and the friendship will grow. Then, we'll hear each others voices in our minds reading the posts on this board.
