Evening all. We got some Deka Sign air to get Tonia's airbrush going but I'm afraid about paints fading. Should I clearcoat it? If so, with what? TIA, Felix!

Felix, I use AutoAir from Createx, but basically it's the same type of paint as Deka. I always clear, whatever I use it on, with Frog Juice, just to be safe. On vinyl, I usually use the aerosol and out of a quart for panels.
BTW, I heard from a good source yesterday that Deka has just gone out of business. Anybody else hear anything about this?
Also, check out www.bearair.com, lots of great products at excellent prices.

Yes, clearcoat with either Frog Juice or One Shot UV clear. I know some people use Krylon clear but I've heard alot of people say that Krylon will yellow on you.

I switched from Deka to Createx Sign Air. Deka clogged my airbrush regularly. I never get clogs with Auto Air.

It was great meeting you and your wife in Milwuakee Felix. Hope your trip back home went smoother.

Thanks for your resposes guys. Dave, the trip went well (slept most of the way from St. Louis)
When we got to the island there was a huge storm & we flew right through it, felt like Hurrican Hugo in 89. It was nice meeting all of you too.
