Sand the aluminum, crosshatch with PB240 and screws from the back into the HDU. What, exactly, are you trying to accomplish?

Nothing really, I just saw an article where they used it & thought it'd be useful since wood deteriorates so quickly here. Thanks always Pierre.

Felix, are you talking about an aluminum like Dibond? If you are, you sand it with a heavy grit sandpaper, dimple the surface here and there with a drill bit without going all the way through, crosshatch with PB240 and clamp it. This is our method for doing it with Dibond, but we're more likely to use single-sided MDO and use PB240 on the two raw surfaces and clamp it. Prime and paint the MDO then seal with Pelucid. Once sealed, it's permanently waterproof and maintenance free. Just hose it down with water a few time a year. If the backing is Dibond, just bond it and leave it. No sealer.
