I've always used SignFoam®, but my new supplier has Precision Board®, so I am trying it for the first time. Printed directly on the panels are warnings about sanding off the protective coat, and cutting off the edge, basically before you do anything with this stuff? I always sanded Sign Foam before i painted it etc., but this makes it sound as if I need to take off a ¼"
of material first. Am I reading this right?
I'd hate to do something wrong and trash a 150 buck piece. Sound like a lot of extra work to me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey, Dave........you don't have to cut any of it off. Just sand the slick feeling coating on the edge off down to the material. No big deal. Why don't you check out my website and look at the carvings. I finish them with a protective clearcoat. It's on the "Products" page. Call on the toll free if you need help.
