In addition to the huge number of pics I took, make sure you find the link for the secret ice cream sandwich eating contest which took place at this meet!
One of the things I enjoyed most about this meet was the "Circle of knowledge". This was where a large group of us sat in a circle, and with a selection process similar to spin the bottle (except we used a carved fish - a pike) the pike was spun and whoever it pointed to got to ask a sign related question. Anyone knowing the answer or having advice then spoke up and shared the knowledge. This is a great way to help each other out. I hope to see it at more meets.
Occasionally we ventured into fantasies about some of the characters in The Brady Bunch, but after 3 long days of painting and carving and airbrushing and pinstriping, ya gotta expect that :-)
In addition to thanking everyone who helped organize and make sure the meet went smoothly, and the suppliers who donated materials for everyone to use, I'd like to personally thank DeWane Connot for putting some absolutely awesome pinstripe flames on my Chevy S-10 pickup truck. His selfless sharing of techniques and tireless striping of vehicles and other objects like guitar stands and painting of graphics on motorcycles and panels went even beyond the spirit of Letterheads. I only saw him put down his brush(es) once for a sandwich during the 3 days of this great meet.
Thank you DeWayne
