Hello all! Just curious to see what some of your projects are this week?
Im currently cutting a job for the Vocal Group Hall Of Fame located here in the ajoning town of Sharon Pa. The Hall of Fame is a museum of sorts for all of the most famous vocal groups. The section of the museum i am working on this week is a seprate building across the street from the main museum. It is dedicated to the barbershop musicians of the 40's and 50's This houses the outfits/memorabilia from the famous groups.
If youre ever in the area CHECK THIS PLACE OUT it is very cool. They also hold concerts all the time. September they feature many artist in the concert they are having. I believe Dion will be there along with the Bee Gees!
I have 4 4'x4' circular logos to put on the walls in avery electric metallic blue w/ metallic gold outlines. Also i have to letter the ticket window front doors and restroom signs. This is one of the coolest jobs ive had as to date. I also did some cases that housed the clothes from the ever popular Backstreet Boys ! (even though i dont care for them lol) whatever makes ya money! Well i'm gonna get myself back to work! Have a good one. Ryan

Lat and I are working on a whole load of custom multi-color street signs for a new condo development, and Dad is working on that huge carving in the back room. He says that one will take three to six months to complete, depending how often he's interrupted. (and if we can keep him off the his two firearms websites) :^)

I spent the long weekend (Only in Canada, Eh ) edge filling, sanding, priming and spraying a whole bunch of 3/4" thick routered letters. Also cut and sprayed blends on 3 sets of vinyl lettering for a van job.
Tomorrow I'll install the lettering on the van and pick up two 4x6 backlit sign faces for the same customer.
Wednesday I'll be installing the dimensional letering on the customers brick wall. Thursday I'll apply the lettering to the two sign faces and deliver them back to the customer for installation. Since I worked all of this weekend, I think I'll take Friday off.

Got up at 4:30 this morning, answered some emails and headed out the my garage. Started cleaning it out, but ended up going through my paint box and figuring out what I needed to order for upcoming jobs (wondering why I have 4 half empty cans of Chrome yellow, and no primrose yellow).
Made my list, and came back in to check on my vinyl supply. Did 3 designs on the PC for new job proposals, made some phone calls, and took a nap from 11 to 1.
Woke up, played with the dog some, had lunch and a bowl of ice cream, came on here and now answering your post.
Tonight on plan on watching the Dolphin vs. Rams football game on TV, and relaxing. Tomorrow back to work!
Nice to take a day off once in a while ;-)

What am I doin this week? Heck if I know, it's only Monday... I dunno what's gonna happen that far in advance..
I've got some emails to answer.. about 80 of em..
I've been tryin to contact my ISP to get a new DSL card but the last time I called I got hung up on while waiting for the next available representative (which is fine, I'd already burned 30 minutes worth of long distance at that point).. Speakin of the Backstreet Boys, that's what the ISP had playin for their "on-hold" music.. talk about adding insult to injury!!!
I'm waitin on one particular email to come back - hopefully containing the green light for a $600 helmet paint job.
And I'm takin another stroll into the world of auto/truck accessories.. I'm gonna develop a set of carbon fiber replacement pedals for Ford Rangers/Mazda B-Series trucks - I've already got orders for about 10 sets.. hehe.

Woke up at 9am... (alarm was set to 8pm instead of am... i hate it when that happens)... crossed the street to my job, buffed & put the second coat of varnish on a 4x8 redwood for a law office. Cleaned up the shop a bit. Spoke to customer on the phone & informed him that the price of his install just went up $25 bucks due to local gang activity. Put some paint on a couple small sandblasted signs (one directional, one warning)... Put some vinyl on a couple .080 Aluminum For Rent signs (for the slumlord I talked to earlier) ... now I'm waiting for Al to stop procrastinating & sandblast the four signs I masked the begining of last week (: ....

First, I hooked up a new 17" monitor to my mac and enjoyed that for a few minutes, then went out to deliver two sets of sketches to potential customers, who are now customers, talked to another one about quite a bit of signwork at the new city hall,(windows, doors, etc.) Came back to the shop dying from heat exhaustion, then got to work cutting vinyl for a church van tomorrow morning. I hate mondays. Always my busiest day of the week. Whewwwwww...

Woke to a beautiful sunny Sydney morning at 7am. Took the wife to work in our new Holden Ute! Drove to the beach to read the paper. Had the side windows tinted. Did some house work, laundry and stuff, but forgot to do the dishes. Picked up the wife, Annie and had the title transdfered for our new Ute. Picked up her mum and pop and went to dinner at the Lawn Bowls Club. Now sitting here replying to this. Oh, and getting stuff ready for my new job starting Monday. Selling for a company that did the signage for the Olympic village in Sydney. Enjoying married life in Australia, can life getbetter?

that install is actually in a section 8 project in the lovely town of Baker! I'm exagerating a bit about gang activity.. but it is a bad area from what I hear. Not as bad as some of the places down where your at I'm sure.
Put rubber on to blast a logo on part of the set of a local TV station today. My work will be on the news every day!
