We made it! It's just before 10pm and we are booked in at the beautiful Motel 6 here in Waukesha, WI, just minutes west of Milwaukee.
It's been a long day. Left Battle Creek, MI around 11am and headed for Chicago. Made a stop in Hammond, IN to sat hi to some friends that don't even make signs. While there, we found the phone number and directions to VanBruggen Signs. Those of you who read SignCraft will recognize the name of this company. It's the workplace of one of my sign heros and longtime pal Bob Behounek.
Bob took us on a tour of the shop and showed me some of his tricks. He also informed me that Ken Millar is here and will be attending the meet this weekend. Bob will also be here on Saturday. I'm getting excited!
