Barb and I are resting at a Super 8 motel in Battle Creek, Michigan. We left Fergus around noon. There was a long wait at the US border, but other than that, we made pretty good time. We had planned to stay in the van, but it is so hot, I have to stay in air conditioning just to breath.
We made a quick stop at Lapeer, Mi to say hello to Laura Butler and her staff. Laura and her husband Gary, an avid pilot with his own plane, just got home from the big Fly-In at Oshkosh, WI.
Empy. If you are reading this, we'll be showing up at your place tomorrow night. Break out the tiger stripe sheets.
I'd really like to stop by Van Bruggen Signs in Orland Park and see Bob Behounek tomorrow. If anyone has Bob's phone number and/or Van Bruggen, please e-mail to us.
