Hello everyone,
It has been a real long time since I have done any posting but I have a Question. I went to the BIG show in Orlando and low and behold Signlab Sneaked a new version in on me, E6. In February I bought Signlab 5.0 colormaster after being talked into it by a local distributor. He never mentioned that Signlab was planning on releasing anything in the near future. I have Signmate elite and when I purchased that I was told I had one free upgrade if Signmate released anything within my first year of ownership. The point of this post is that I am wondering if anyone knows anything I can do to try to get the upgrade without any additional investment. They told me that even though the colormaster is the top version, the best they could do is to let me upgrade for another $350.00. The guy at cad link said that if it were within 30 days that I called, they would have upgraded for free. I don't think that I’m being out of line by trying to get the new version considering they didn’t let new purchasers know of the 30-day upgrade policy. If I had received anything saying, “Would you like to upgrade to the new version”, I would definitely have said yes!
Does anyone have any ideas on a good way to handle this? Thanks in advance for your input!
