I know this may not be much for most of you, but I did this car for a clown business here in town and have gotten so much attention from it. That I want to do something for my truck... I have a computer business, so I don't want to leave it out either, but I don't want it to dominate the idea.... I would like to get the kind of response that I see with this CLOWN CAR... I have gone riding with him and we have people point and say "Happy Grams" (GOOD ADVERTIZING.) I want something HAPPY I have this simple design that is mostly vinyl, what do you think!!
Take it easy on me!
web site is under construction so posting idea on bottom of page
Thanks

The components are there, sort of, but it's not "collected". I'm not sure how to say it. It needs to be pulled together into a focal point. I don't want to tell you what to do, but you need to try another approach. It's too scattered and doesn't flow.

:^)

I'm sorry. I misunderstood. You mean your logo at the bottom. The only part that doesn't work for me is the banner seems to be disconnected.

my two cents...

skip the computer biz stuff.

the clown car works because it is one big idea. if you want that kind of oomph for your own truck, it has to sell "signs" and not "signs and computer stuff". go find a different way to promote the computer side of your biz. get a second car, or your spouse's car, or something else. keep it simple. (also, computers aren't "fun" and anybody who tries to sell "fun computer" stuff won't be in business long).

also, i think you can make the sign part of the design "fun" without "sloppy". the paintball drips look messy. just follow the lead on the clown car - ribbons, stripes, a few easy to read words.

hope that helps.

Do not mix the computer and sign messages. The computer ribbon looks stuck on after the fact. Drop the ribbon, and everything else looks good.

The rest of your layout does have a fun feel to it, and I think the paint splashes are appropriate. No one will look at the layout and say "H'mm he's sloppy" They are going to say "Cute!" The splashes are what makes the layout memorable, and that is your goal.

I'm an engineer so take this for what it is worth: Get out of the rectangle and think about your vehicle as some kind of unfinished sculpture. Now draw your logo on it in that context. Go further with your fun and happy theme. Your sculpture moves, so you could incorporate wind effects if you want to. Vic G

I think it is a fun logo too! Looks good. Maybe move '& Graphics' down and over a bit? Also I agree....don't have the banner on there. The copy inside the banner is too hard to read. Nice colors!
