Have a customer designing in Adobe Illustrator. I asked for the graphic to be converted to curves. Is there such a command in AI? Never used AI myself. Thanks for any help.

I'm not exactly a regular user of Illustrator, but I think you go to the "Type" menu and then select "Create Outlines". You would first select the text prior to doing that. At least that's the way I do it in version 9.

Under "type-create outlines",

AND if this customer is designing on a mac and giving you a disk, make sure he/she saves onto an IMB formatted disk and save as AI 6.0 (for best results).
