Hey Heads,

Anyone that's interested in sending files to postcardpress.com to have business cards printed from photoshop files can download the template I use from my site..

http://stickerpimp.com/postcardpress/

They provide a template already, but theirs is setup for 300 DPI while their directions are for 355 DPI.

I've called them to ask about this and they said the 300 DPI version is a minimum, so I went ahead and used their specs for bleed sizes, crop sizes and safety zones to setup a 355 DPI version. This isnt hard to do, but some of us may not feel comfortable doing it which is why I am providing it.

If you download the file and open it, you will see two quidelines along each side. The innermost set of quidelines is the "safety zone", or the absolute edge where your artwork will print safely without being cut off. It provides a nice border too, leaving about 1/8" between the print's edge and the edge of the card after it's been cropped.

You shouldnt have any problems opening this file with any version of Photoshop as photoshop native files (PSD format) are not version specific.
