I would like to buy a paint mixing guide that is out on the market somewhere. It gives you the actual paint colors to use to match the pantone colors. Does anyone know where to buy one?

Thank you ahead of time.

It looks like a Pantone swatchbook. It's called "Colortones". The phone number's been painted over on mine, but you can reach them at:
Colortones
P.O. Box 3095
Walnut Creek, CA 94598-3540

It's been a few years... hope the address is still current.

Ernie, The colortones books are being sold by SignCraft. They have two that they advertise. One is for florescents, the other is to mix colors with lettering enamels. Lynn Carr who invented and published this system seems to have dropped outta sight, and the Walnut Creek phone will do you no good. Should anyone knoe Lynn's address or phone, I'd sure like to talk with him. He used to own Western Sign Supply in Oakland.

Hi Diane. There's no need to leave Letterville to get the book you need. It's listed in the Letterville Book Shop at http://www.letterhead.com/bookshop/index.html

When you buy your books through a Letterville Merchant such as SignCraft, Sid Moses or Canadian SignCrafter Supply, you quite often save money. You are also spending your dollars with Merchants that support Letterville.

In Diane's case, I know I am preaching to the choir. Ernie and Diane are Letterville Merchants offering wholesale routing to the Letterville Community. Use them and save on equipment costs.

Drez...We welcome your posts here. It's flattering that Sign Builders and The SignShop Network are getting involved in Letterville. All we ask is that you wear your Letterhead hat when posting and refrain from promoting your magazine and website for free in this Forum. A signature file would also be cool.
