Sunday the 15th marked Penny and I's 12 year wedding aniversary, along with the 2nd aniversary of being in business on our own!!!
Sunday had to be good after the "Friday the 13th" we had. Around 12:30 I was in the shop cutting some vinyl stripes apart. It was a beautiful day outside and I had my big door open. I start cutting some apart and a car goes by, backfires, scares the hell outa me, I look down and it seems I tried to take the end of my thumb off below the nail. A trip to the ER 4 blocks away nets me several stitchs (6) and a very sore thumb.
Later on that evening I get a return call from a buddy who informs me his father had a heart attack, My prayers are with you and your family friend.
Then about 8:00pm, my son Stephen is playing football with his friends, you guessed it, another trip to the ER and Stephen has a broken foot!!!!!
Next Friday the 13th I am Hybernating!!!!!!

Me too... Heath and I made 7 years married today and we've been together for 10 come this November. We celebrate both still. My how time flies!
Friday the 13th wasn't as exciting for me, but then I was just a computer jockey that day so aside from getting zapped there wasn't much trouble I could have gotten into.

A most Happy Anniversary to you guys! Hope ya celebrated all day long. I assume the cut was on your "off" thumb? (pun intended) heal up quick and you can use the same knife to remove them stitches. Is Stephen in a walking cast, or does he get to deal with the crutches for a few weeks? He should be healed pretty well by the time school starts...crutches and school...a terrible combination! Congrats again & get well soon!
