**Update** It's seems to be screwing up where I used Corels drop shadow feature. Can you not export drop shadows?
Another issue with the business card/pre-press issue.
I am exporting to an .eps format from CorelDraw 8. tiff, 8-bit color, 300 dpi, 128 fountain steps.
I tried to open a new document and import the .eps right back into Corel and it doesn't look right. There are ghosts around some areas and some of the colors are not the same.
What am I doing wrong?
I can email this to someone so they can help figure it out if need be. I don't want to send a file to print that doesn't import correctly!

I've always gotten varying results sending to an ai or eps from Corel. What I've found to be full-proff is to save as a Corel file. Then I import the corel file into Illustrator (if you don't have it..forget it).....then Once in Illustrator, I save it as a Illustrator file. I've nver had any problems doing it this way. Just be sure to convert your text to curves before trying to import it into illustrator.

When I did the last set of business cards in Corel I couldn't get a good export to .eps Finally Post Card Press let me send it as an .ai file. I am using Corel 9 and still don't know why the problems occur.

Amy check you mail. I found that when exporting to eps with a drop shadow,if you convert the color bitmap to greyscale, in the export window, the problem seems to go away. The drop shadow is a bitmap.
