Does anyone know of a color sensor, other then Manoco?
I purchased mine in early may. Have tried to calibrate my monitor 2 times & had to call tech. support both times. I finally got the monitor calibrated this am & now the scanner/printer calibration don't work.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Did I get a bad one or is it mayby vacation time?

Hi John,

I was hoping someone could help on this topic also. I cant.

I assume you are talking about Gerber Edge printing, getting the scanner, monitor, and Edge printed all aligned.

I gave up trying.

Hi Dave & Glenn:

The first time I tried to calib. my monitor, after hours of trying, & talking to tech support where i purchased it, I finally had to call the manuf. I was told that the one had, needed a password. ????? and had to prove that I had purchased it, & from whom. OK, got the pass word & it worked to calibrate the monitor. A day spent on it, i never got the scan. & Edge calib.

After rebuilding this puter, I tried to calibrate my monitor again. Didn't work, I'm not surprised at all after 7 or 8 tries. Called tech. support & after 7 times of uninstalling & reinstalling, was told they didn't have a clue, must be the device. This is USB, by the way. Tech sent me a patch to DL the update. 6 hrs shot.

Next morning, I installed the update. Still would not detect the device. Tech support again, no clue, call manuf. Called manuf., finally got the monitor calib. Proceded to calib. the scanner. Crop marks in wrong place, right mouse, per instructions, don't work. after 3 more hrs of failure, called tech support told them i was sending it back & wanted a full refund. They said no problem, sent it to us.

I have not mentioned any names & don't intend to. My tech support on the edge has been great. No complants at all. And many thanks to all the help Glenn has given me. The support from the manuf. did work, for the monitor, but I can't be calling them every time I need to do a calibration.

The way I'm looking at it now is, I got a bad one, or the manuf. needs to put instructions in their manual that are correct & mayby more complete.

I would have really been happy if this thing worked. As you know, not seeing what you're going to get isn't fun. It's just a guessing game as to what will come out of the edge. Expensive one too.

Hope this has been a help to someone. Any Ideas, certanilly would be appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

John
