Also, if you look on their contact page, what is listed as support@fosmedia.net actually sends mail to fosmedia@l57.org. If you do a WHOIS on L57.org, you will find that the contact is e247.com, which has a "has ceased operations" message on their website. The whole deal sounds hinky, to me.
I have alerted Adobe as to the possible software piracy.

Got this via e-mail... Guess it was too good to be true. Buyer BEWARE! Should have heeded my own advice.

A source called in to our Anti-Piracy Hotline and asked about your inquiry on http://www.letterhead.com/ubb/. Adobe Systems and Macromedia are members of ours and we represent them in their anti-piracy efforts. FOS Direct (or FOS Media, they have multiple names) is definitely operating illegally. I advise you to attempt to cancel your order immediately.
We are currently investigating this piracy case. In the meantime, it would be extremely helpful if you could forward any information/correspondance you have had with the Target. We are collecting as much information as we can and your help is greatly appreciated.

Quarks 5.0 isn't even out yet. We have the upgrade to 4.1. When I saw this post I checked their website because I submitted a wish list to be included in 5.0 some time ago and 4.1 is still the latest version out there. I wonder how many of those other programs they offered in their bundle are not yet written? Jennifer Bond

The total cost of the programs included, including the mysterious quark 5 (priced as the current version) and NOT including the MS software: $5280 + tax. What part of this scam was confusing?
