I'm looking for a source for 30's advertising artwork, particularly anything Australian or French but all references appreciated.
Thanks,
David

Wow, I was wondering the same thing today.
Mainly old Aussie stuff. I wonder if there are old newspsper archives, mags and such???

It's a beautiful day at Botany Bay today.
Another in a long line of them!

David I have photocopies of something called "The Australian Advertising Album" by Brian Carroll. It covers a period of between 1900-1945 and contains some really nice adverts from newspapers, posters etc.
The quality is not fantastic, but good for ideas. I would have to photocopy and post it.
Let me know if I can help.

smilin here Jacko,
I stopped at an airport to get a joy ride for Annie, was talkin to the instructor pilot about flying, told him I didn't have a current medical, but was eager to fly in Oz, he let me give Annie the ride, he sat in the right seat. What a thrill to discover I could still land a plane.......
