As a part of a larger job, I may have a mirror job or two coming up. The customer is talking about reproduction classic advertising artwork on glass and/or mirrors . Has anyone experimented with out carried any mirror work in this vein? Ideally the effect that I would specifically like to reproduce is the kind of sepia tone crazing that old mirrors can sometimes get. While I hopefully have the attention of anyone with experience in mirror work, can anyone tell me if there is I solvent avaiable to remove the silvering from mirrors? I made some enquiries a while ago about doing it the other way around IE: applying the design and then having the glass silvered, but it sounded like it may be an error prone process doing it this way around. All information on the subject or related info/experiences appreciated. TIA, David
