I have often used the search tool for archives, rather than bothering anyone with trivial questions, but lately and on several occasions, I can't get it to find anything, on even simple subjects. I just did a search on vinyl backing problems....I keyed in vinyl not releasing, vinyl release, vinyl backing, (all of the terms one line at a time), but nothing arose. Six months ago, I would have had 60 hits on most of them. Whats wrong? I have always been very good on search engines. Perpexed, Bronzeo
I've had the same problem, even trying the generic approach like "vinyl". At times, I've even known the name of the person that posted and not come up with any responses. Arrrrgh! If I know the time frame, I'll just reset the topic dates and look through 120 or so topics to find what I'm lookin' for.
Wonder if Steve can tell us what the trick is, maybe we're not holding our tounge right!

bump up ... I really rely on this function instead of printing the subjects as they are posted, and it is really messing up. Steve, do you have a thought on this?
