My buddy Ben, the internet security guru, sent me a note about a fantastic firewall program that blocks your computer from being probed by other internet users whether you are on a DSL, cable or dial-up connection.
It's a great program and it's FREE for personal use.
I just installed it and it's monitoring all my internet apps beautifully.
For those that are connected to the internet constantly, say with DSL or cable, you NEED a firewall because your machines are accessible to others on your local network!
