I have a couple of Quark files from a customer and I cannot open them with anything I have here. I think Quark can export as RTF or EPS format. If so, would somebody volunteer to take my 2 or 3 files by email and convert them to something I can read. Thanks.
Oh, yeah...I'd have the customer do it, but they don't have Quark either. The originator is no longer available, so we're both stuck.

Quark files, and even their EPS's, are a bit tricky to bring into other programs. Quark handles fonts a bit differently than most design programs, and Quark files/exports are tough to handle without a copy a Quark ... or a really good PostScript 3 interpreter.
Hence, I'd suggest you have them output a high-res PDF (Acrobat) file with fonts embedded and image/text compression turned off. If they're sending you a Quark file, I'll guessing you're getting it from an ad agency or graphic design firm ... either of which should be skilled in creating PDFs. CorelDRAW does a great job of importing PDF files (single page), and they e-mail really well.

Jim

...and if it turns out to be a QuarkExpress document for the PC and the Mac Quark does not open it (which it "should" but sometimes these programs "get moody") I can open it for you here!
