Alright, I got the eye candy 3.0 download for my pc,but I have a G3 at the shop not hooked up to the net. Is there any way I can download the mac version to my pc, and take it to the shop and extract?
I tried last night, but when I went to extract it at the shop today, it wouldnt work.
Any ideas?

I tried to download the mac version of eyecandy on my mac and the file is corrupted. tried three times. This might be why you can't get it to work either.

Has anyone been able to download the mac version?

BTW, i tried downloading onto different macs at different locations and had the same problem.

You can down load Mac files to a PC most of the time, usually the file will be saved as an .sit file (Mac Stuffit). My wife has a G3 at home and I have downloaded a fair amount of stuff for her on the PC at work, put it on a CD or Zip, and 99.9 percent of the files have worked fine.

Downloaded EC3 for her G3 and it worked great!

I've tried everything and can't get it to work. Has me baffled. I'd love to have this on my mac doggone it! I even downloaded it straight to my mac and it wouldn't work.

Check in your browser settings if the "Decode…" options is not set to "automatic". For example, Explorer has some options of this kind in th" Download" part of its settings. If you try to download a file encoded for Mac, it would produce some errors.

Once downloaded without "deencoding", a file compressed in hqx or in .sit can be moved to a Mac and uncompressed from there.

Regards

PS. Don't forget to download my SignofNCS plug-ins for Illustrator ? It's free !!!!!!!
