Our old pal Alan Johnson has been keeping busy doing a step by step for Sign Business Magazine on the art of goldleaf pinstriping. Bill Reidel dropped by to give him a hand and sent in these photos.
This is Alan's car, a 1930 Ford. The pictures only show the gold, but he will outline and air brush to finish the job. Alan & his wife Judy host a Pinhead Meet every year. They still don't have a computer, but they like to see what is happening here in Letterville whenever they get near one.
Bill is still just a kid at 79 and eager to learn new things. He writes that it was a real honour to get to work with a young kid like Alan. Thanks for all you do Bill. You are an inspiration to all of us.

This is what Letterheads is all about, working together and enjoying it. I have to let you know that 73 is the correct age, not 79. Although I hope to be just as busy then too. Looking forward to the Walldog Jam.
