Well Roger, Your rapid prep worked great for removal of wax and grime. Now that the job is done. (Reflective vinyl) My customer asks me about rewaxing. How does he keep the build-up of wax from staying on the edge of the vinyl? Ya know that dry white crusty stuff that looks terrible when ya can't get it all off?
Any one have any idea's?
BTW, Roger... Even though I knew better, I followed your application method for using cheap paper towels. It did what I thought it would do and left scratch marks on the paint. I know they can be buffed out but using a soft (terry cloth)is my preferred method. Leaves no scratch marks.

I'm always "waxing" my car, when I'm done, I go around it with a "fine" tooth brush.
I think its the only way, unless you just use Rapid Clear over the sign !!

But don't use Rapid Clear "before painting or applying vinyl" that would not allow good bonding.

Sorry to hear of your "scratches",was the paint "completely" cured ??

Obviously you didn't get free samples.

Rapid Clear is a "cleaner/polish" all in one
Designed for poly carbs., plexi, acrylic, glass.

But thanks to reports and stories from you folks out in the field we found it works on a larger number of things, like wax on boats or vehicle paint,(some sign people) spray it on the completed sign and substrate.
Glazes those small scratches(like you get from paper towells).
One customer called, wanted to know if he could "do the whole disel truck?" cause he did the doors after lettering them and his customer thought he had re-painted the trucks finish !

There ya go !!

Rapid Clear is really great stuff for instance take faded out tale light or parking lights, spray the lights with Rapid Clear let sit a couple minutes and buff in with a soft cloth then take a soft clean cloth without Rapid Clear on it & buff to a new car shine if really faded you may have to do it twice. But it works GREAT. Roger comes up with some great stuff in than basement overlooking the beach in Hawaii.
