My "Signs of the Times" just came in. Flipping through to look at the pictures (I always look for the pics first) one particular sign, Slash Blaster, caught my eye.
Turned out to be another great looking job by Jay!
Thanks for the compliment on our Splash Blaster sign. It was a kick to do. We are very fortunate to get that type of opportunity (working on themed signage) every year. I know some folks will never have that luxury of working for a theme park as an independent contractor.
The only complaint I have is the butchering they had to do to get the article to fit. It reads very poorly so if anyone wnats to get any questions answered - or if anything is unclear - please call me and I will try to clarify. This is one instance where my "wordiness" actually does harm - I don't envy Steve Aust for having to do so much editing.
One more thing - on the last page of Strictly Commercial articles they include your picture on the last page with a header over it that says "More on Jay" or "More on Mark", etc. Is it just me or are they calling us morons?
OK - I'll keep the day job and refrain from comedy.
