Here in Grants Pass Oregon this weekend starts the Boatnik, part of our Amazing May the beginning of summer. The tempertures all week have been in the late ninties and touching the 100 degree mark. Although the boatniks first day started on thursday and last night they had a fireworks display, the actual boat races start this morning and a parade at 10AM. The parade will have classic cars, hot rods, kids, marching bands and floats put together by some of the townspeople. Boatnik will have Skydivers, Carnival, F-15 fly-overs and of course Jet boat races including drag boats and hydroplanes all through Monday......

Whats going on in your neighborhood?

What are you doing?

It is absolutly wonderful, weather wise here today. I got my OH door open and don't really evan mind having to work today to get caught up. I was dreading it, but I got the CD player cranked and having a good time.
They are calling for rain sometime today, but it doesn't look it.

Tomorrow will be Race Day and I will observe my annual tradition of watching the Indy 500, followed by the Coca-Cola 600, rooting for Tony Stewart in both. All the while gourging my self on Home made Philly Steak Sandwich's, along with lots of Chips and Grape Soda.....UUUMMMMMMM UUUUUUUMMMMM Good!!

Monday will be family day and after visiting the graves of Penny's Father and my Grandfather, both vetrans, we will cook out with the rest of the family, Throw horse shoes, and have a good time.

Hope everyones weekend goes great!!!!

I'm relaxin'....

I had a few customers call me Thursday all wanting 2 or 300 decals by Saturday afternoon.. heh.. I told 'em all "400% Rush order fee."

So.. I now have the weekend to myself.

I'll be at the lake, jetskiing as usual, but since the temps here are hovering around 115 degrees I'm not going to make a full day of being outside.

Some Labor Day weekend, I'll make it up to Eureka to the kinetic sculpture race. Huge non motorized pieces of people powered art that traverse a course of land and water and obsticles. There is a museum of some of these pieces from years past in Ferndale. I've worked on building a few,but have never seen the race. Anyone here ever caught that one?
