We're trying to reproduce a font used in the logo of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America logos, and can't match it anywhere. We've got over 1000 fonts in our computer, and not a match! Also, no clean scannable artwork. I went on the internet to their corporate site to attempt finding a downloadable corporate logo. Right! If you'd like to see the best rendition I could find, follow this link http://www.bgcma.org/ to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Atlanta. As best I can tell, it's some sort of modified verstion of Palatino? Anyway, just wondering if one of you had encountered this font before and would be willing to share where I might be able to find it so I can produce these signs without having to pull out the old brushes. Computers will spoil ya. Know what I mean? Thanks in advance.

I've done a lot of work for the Boys & Girls clubs and remember looking for that font with no luck. I got their logo as ai file from their corporate offices but that font for other typesetting, I don't know. It may have been custom made for that logo.

That is not a font. It is a modified version of one. It was modified for the boys and girls club. You should not need it for any other copy, as they do not allow it's use for secondary copy. According to their graphics standards manual, the acceptable fonts for secondary copy are "Cooper Black" or "Helvetica"(varying weights)

Thanks guys. At least I'm not as incompetent at finding the font as I first thought I was. I just wish online corporate sites would provide a link for authorization of sign shops, newspapers, etc., so we could download the much needed logos.
Fodder for thought...
