How about Citizens (paying people, unlike this bum.) Visitors (Couch letterheads - yours truly) and Tourists ( someone who happens upon the site who jus ain't sign kin.)
Also, when you do the redesign, just don't make some Behemoth Site that requires all known plug-ins and the latest browser version. This site works so great now, it would be a bummer to make it less comfy. Yes, change is important - but let's make sure it's a change for the good.
I'm not sure what's happened to me. All my life I've been so optimistic I made people sick, now - halfway to seventy - I sound like a pessimistic old codger.
Maybe it's just a phase. My wife's been kinda hoping that about me for 12 years now...

After reading another post about this name, I thought about it, here's my nickels worth... Is Letterville a good name? It sounds ok, but if I was an striper, silk screener, installer, etc. I would would feel sort of left out. I think maybe a name like "Artist Quarters" would cover everyone. yeah thats the ticket. and if anyone is around Happy Hour time, stop by "Cisco's Cantina", Tequilas for everyone! Live music and a big dance floor, we'll have hot Taquitos, Chips and Salsa! Enchiladas de Pollo (chicken) Rice and Beans and if you can't find it, it's on corner of Studio St. and Vargas Blvd. look for the fancy sandblasted gold leaf sign Ms Cheryl did. Don't be shy, come on down, and if you don't drink, thats cool too, we have 7-up, Pepsi. Hasta la Vista

Steve, I love the whole concept. I see your heart attacks have not stifled your creativity. The Lil Chizler is coming together. Let me know if the new logo will be done soon. Letterhead logo or Letterville logo for the chizler?

Steve, it took me a few days to get around to this letter, as I have been very busy. I think when you redesign the site you should try to keep the bells and whistles as a minimum, at least on the bulletin board part. After All some of us still have old slow computers at home(leftovers from upgrades at work)and home is where I do most of my letterheads catching up. it took me nearly 5 minutes to download this message, and I think a lot of it is the flashing ads, I tried to stop the antimations, but it just quits downloading. Other than that(I had to be the first negative guy, don't ya know)I think it is a great idea. Bill

I haven't been around in ages, but I have to say how much I love this idea. I think an Italian restaraunt would be appropriate so people can contact the Sign Gangsters (as long as they don't go around the neighborhood asking for "protection" insurance). Perhaps along with a pet store you could include a toy store (letterhead kids), and maybe raise some money with a mall where we could directly link to some of the merchants who actively support this fine site. Then the merchants could blatently advertise to their hearts content and we could go in and check it out when we want to.

Hi Barb (and Steve)! Every time you two have announced some changes, big or small, it's been for everyones benefit. I have confidence that this is no different. But I do have one question: Do you two ever sleep?

Hello Rich Diltz, an Italian Restaurant would be cool, but the Sign Gangsters Inc. are not just Italians, they are mixed. and No they don't ask for anything in return, they are only around to help and serve their Sign Brothers and Sisters, against the cruel customers who want to take advantage of our family. So when is the Lasagna going to be ready?

Just wanted to make sure there would be a proper place where one could go and get the assistance of the sort that SGI is known for. Personally I don't mind if it's a deli, hof brau, noodle house or taqueria.... the Italian place was just from watching to many films I 'spose. And I know the SGI would never extort, but well there are a few sorts of places like real estate offices, lawn mower repair joints, and others that maybe could pay a "bad sign" tax to help protect their home made signs from any... "accidents". Make 'em think twice before taking the spray cans to plywood.
On a serious note, I'm in CA too and would love to meet 'ya sometime! ~Rich
