when i try to open composer 6 it will not open.
i have tried to re-install from cd drive but to no avail.
i keep getting an error...
"cannot read GSP white block or LSS card"

does anyone have any ideas?
i put in a call to gerber for tech support, but we all know how it takes days for them to return one's call.

any help would be much appreciated.

Mark, is your security block securely attached to the port? If so, you may need to have it replaced or they may be able to e-mail you a new code# for it.

Aye did'n thank you was old nough ta have a dead dongle. heh heh

Sounds like you may have to wait for tech to get this one if it is not a loose connection.

Good luck!

hey thanks folks for the help.

i just talked to a gerber tech and the problem was the external zip drive i had installed several months ago had somehow re-written the info concerning composer.
(i had the zip pluged into the back of the security block)
when i would click the icon of composer to open it it was teling me that i had version 4.30(the old version i had before i upgraded.)
he gave me a new password, i reinstalled composer 6 and i am back up and running.
thanks gerber.

thanks again for you guys input.

happy camper in monkeytown,

mark
