My cousin the mechanic is starting his own business. This is the same cousin who has kept our van going the last few years and this is my chance to pay back some favors.

He wants to specialize in the import high performance import street rods that are so popular these days. I don't know squat about cars, but the Honda Civic and Toyota models come to mind. I'm looking for a graphic to include in his biz card and signage. A search through my KarKlip and Jack Wills CD's came up blank. There is artwork for every type of street rod except the one I need.

Does anyone have artwork that is not copyrighted?

Steve,
What do you mean by "POCKET ROCKET " ?
I have heard that term applied to something else.
Do you mean a "RICE BURNER " ?

Steve,
I have seen a few magazines at the local bookstore that cater to these type of cars and would imagine that you could find some insparation in one of those.

Bob, POCKET ROCKET = small car, fast!!!

The original version of the Pocket Rocket was the Mini Cooper S model which in your part of the country has many............

Rice Burners are normally jap bikes as Pocket Rockets are made by Japanese, German and American companies.......

Well, here in Wisconsin, with it's large (!) population of beer drinking people of German heritage, a pocket-rocket is (or was...) one of those 7 oz. bottles of beer ya could keep in yer pocket & slug down quick whilst, say, waiting for the traffic light to change.

As far as getting artwork of one those cars--Steve, you have the worlds finest resource at your fingertips!!! Just hire one of the many great auto-artists that probably post right here! Put out the plea, man!

Go for it!

Rice burner = slow Jap import
Rice Rocket = fast Jap import
Euro = European Import, usually a BMW but includes anything from Europe
Crotch Rocket = Jap bike
Domestics = US cars of the smaller variety
Lowrider = gaudy thing with gold trim and hydraulic suspension, may include dingleballs (ala Cheech & Chong), popular amongst the ethnic population, includes any of those listed above plus trucks and even bicycles.

sport truck = non-gaudy looking truck, wont find gold spoked wheels or spinners in this group. Includes the whole gammut of trucks from classics to fresh off the showroom floor. Lifted or lowered, stock performance or heavily modified, pretty much any nice looking truck falls into this group.

Pocket Rocket = something else completely unrelated in my pre-verted mind.. hehehe
