Some of you already know my daughter was expecting twins. The babies were not due until July 15, but they decided to come on out yesterday (May 20) on my daughters birthday. All went well, and everyone is doing fine. They were about 8 weeks early, so they are on ventilators, and probably won't get to leave the hospital until mid July, but they are HEALTHY and doing great.
Please welcome: Bradley Austin Davis (4lbs.-1oz. @ 17.75") and Keaton Patrick Davis (4lbs.-6oz. @ 17")
Chantae (my daughter) has been in the hospital in labor for the past 4 weeks. They have been trying to stop her labor, or at least slow it to hold off delivery until at least mid June, but when two little boys make up their minds to do something, they can be hard to stop (stubbornness is a Hulsey family trait)heh heh
When this all started, I didn't think I was old enough to be a Grandparent(47), but after the last few weeks, I am starting to feel like maybe I am.

Congratulations! You will soon find that being a grand-parent is one of the most rewarding things life has to offer. You don't have all the responsibility that parenthood carries, thus more enjoyment. And... when they don't behave perfectly, you can blame it on those OTHER genes! Hope all continues to go so well for your daughter and the little ones.

Congrads Grandpa!!!!!!!!! One thing I forgot to mention on the phone this am is you have given me plenty of advise since I have known you, but i never looked at it a "Fatherly Advise", maybe now I can call it "Grandpa Goodies"
When the bundles get home and settled in you can bring the whole gang over and we will have a cook out. With the number in your family now, we could sling some flames on the grilkl and call it a "Mini-Meet"
Give Chantae and the boys our best!!!!
P.S. Glad you gave the names out, when I got off the phone this am, I got a lecture from the wife about how us men never get the important facts.........LOL

Congrats to you and your family! I'm glad everything is good for you and the little ones. Hope they look so much alike they can play tricks on you, it'll keep you younger! I like being a grandmother, because my daughter admits now that she doesn't know it all! (well, sometimes!). tee, hee. They have three in a row! bless those little bundles of joy and their parents. Btw, I like the blue bubblegum cigars!

I just returned from checking on them today, and they are still doing fine.
It really makes a person feel good to know you have so many friends that care. Chantae is in a hospital 126 miles from here, and we had over 40 people there (from here) on Sunday. While I was there today, 3 more friends stopped by to see her.
Outside of family, there is nothing in this world worth more than good friends.
Thank you all, Don

Congratulations Don! One of the great things about grandchildren is they're willing to listen to all those stories about "the way it used to be" that the kids never had time for
