Wow - I just received some new fonts from Vic Georgiou and Jack Wills. And I'm impressed - and quite proud - as this new collection is called "Volcano". Vic & Jack met, for the first time, at my "Great Volcano Blast" when Steve & Barb were here. They partnered up & have been running together non-stop ever since! You all know they run Anchor Blanks together, and now they're offering this great font collection - really cool stuff! I've just gotta "toot my horn" since they named the font after meeting at my place. You can see some of these fonts at
http://albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumIndex?u=1520990&a=12906220&f=0&vt=mp and can contact Vic at sales@anchorblanks.com for more info. The collection includes a variety - scripts, casual and classic styles, 20 in all - and really great stuff. And to think it all started here! I just can't tell you how excited I am to have a font collection named after the meet! Way to cool! Bomba-Dear

I have bulldog in TTF looks pretty good so far. I have really enjoyed the clipart from Jack Wills, if the fonts are as useful as the clip art has been I'll be buying more.

The Burma fonts are the closest thing to a signwriters lettering that I've seen! The letters have the type of flare at the stroke ends that make them so they can work at a distance.
When I learned to letter, there were almost no straight lines. We learned how a grouping of sleight curves will look straight. Most all fonts seem to be designed for typography and the corners diminish and round off at a distance. Jack's Burma deals with this straight on! Thank you guys, I want it!

Mario . . . ahhh . . . the Cookbook!! It's not lost - Really! I burned it to CD & gave it to Steve & Barb when they were here. All the recipes, contributors, etc, is all on that CD in a MS Word format. I think Steve & Barb have ideas for it. But heck, it took me a few years, so do be easy on Steve & Barb! And yes, since it hasn't been offered yet, maybe I can incorporate some Volcano Collection fonts into it! Great Idea! Bomba-Dear
