When I first heard about the Walldog Jam, I told myself that I wouldn't let anything prevent me from going. Never having attended a Letterhead meet, what an awesome opportunity for me to finally get to one. I tried to get to Cam's last year, about an hour'n a half away, but the "Powers that Be" wouldn't allow it. Now along comes the Walldog Jam, complete with all my Heroes, and now those same "PTB" are trying like heck to throw up another roadblock. What's a Spud to do? I can't say that I'll be there, but I won't say that I'm not. I even read Cam's post that he's looking for someone to share the ride and expenses. Oh, whoa is me. Hope to see and meet you all there.

Sent in my registration last week. Nancy & Noella realy put on a dynamite meet, and if this one is anything like their past event at Williamstown, no one will be disappointed. Only the folks who didn't get to go.

The plane tickets are on my desk, the car is rented, I've paid my registration and I've got clean underwear. Now, I'm just waiting for the days to click off. Just to be able to see Nancy and Noella's shop is going to be worth the cost of the trip...and as others have said, to be able to rub elbows with all my heros.
After so many years these things become family reunions and it is great to just hang out and catch up on family news.
If you are still riding the fence on whether to go or not....just jump off and go. Yes, it is expensive and yes, you will lose time away from your shop, but what you will bring back will be far more valuable. If you have never attended one of these things, this will be one to remember, I'm sure. What a gathering of talent!!
