I've been informed by my current ISP (Onemain.com) that they will soon become Earthlink and that all domains previously parked with JPS.net (my ISP before it was bought out by Onemain) will no longer be supported. This means signing up with Earthlink (or someone else) before June. Anyone explain to me the process of moving a web site? Is this a tedious and time consuming job? I have to complete it before I leave for the East coast. Any advice??? Thanks! A

Adrienne...When I changed ISPs to get high spped connection last year I had to move my website. It took all of about 15 minutes to do it. All you do is create a folder on your Hard Drive named "MyWebsite" (or whatever). use the same file transfer program you use to upload your images etc. but instead of uploading you download the entire website to your newly created folder on your hard drive. Once the new ISP has set up your website location for you all you do is upload the entire contents of that folder to the new website address. VERY simple to do.
