What kind of paint will stay on rubber mudflaps for an 18 wheeler. They are new so they are not full of tar, bugs, etc. Will Createx Auto Air stay or 1-Shot? Thanks

Both Createx auto air AND One shot will work. They have worked for me in the past anyway.

I have lettered a few flaps and have always used 1-shot with a litle lacquer thinner, toulyne or xylene. The 2 last mentioned will work with vinyl paint. Just mix it thye way you like it and take off. It's always worked for me.

1-shot poster paints used to say right on the label that it sticks to rubber. I used to use the white as a base coat and would follow with 1-shot Fluorescent on raised lettering on tires, the kids were doing that about 12yrs. ago around here.

(i love this bullboard!)

if my memory serves me right, we had a workshop on how to letter MudFlaps while the truck is still rolling at the dixie letterheads meet in december. http://www.markfair.com/dixieheads
