I need to cut some reflective vinyl (Avery, I think) for a job. What type of blade would be best for this heavier material? I would also like to cut sandblasting stencil and play around with some sandblasting when things slow down a little. Would the same blade be good for the sandblasting rubber?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. the reason I say Avery on the reflective material I have, suppliers have been switching brands around and I'm not sure I am always getting what I ordered in the past.

Thanks again, Pam

I haven't done much reflective but you will need a 60 degree blade for sandblast resist along with a heavier blade pressure. If it's possible you may want to try a slower cutting speed. Good luck.

Pam..
It might make a difference what kind of cutter you have, but generally you should use a 60 degree blade for sandblast as Rob said, and a "general purpose", 45 degree for your reflective.
