This is not the only way to do this, but here is how I do two sided HDU signs to hang between two posts. The pictures aren't real clear, and may take a sec to download, so forgive me. http://www.casscomm.com/~utter/hdu.htm

NICE set-up! I do a fair bit of HDU and am always on the lookout for new techniques on how to install DF signs between posts. Thanks for the pics; very informative.

If you wanna ensure that the customer is happy you have to see it from beginning to end. You can say you don't install and lose a customer. Install the darn thing and you will probably have a customer for life.
This is one great setup and is stored for future use.
