I've been using the sqweegee (Weber built) to apply transfer tape on vinyl for the past two and a half years. It finally gave way to retirement. The metal edge that makes contact with the trans tape finally fell lose from it's twelve inch plastic handle. But you know, you can still use it for another two years. Just by using the plastic handle 'itself' proves to work even better than it having it's metal edge. It now has way less friction and smoothly glides across the application tape with ease. You may want to keep it's plastic edge smooth by sanding it lightly on occation to avoid air traps under masking. So when that old Weber sqweegee wants to retier on you, don't discord but salvage another couple of years from it.
