I kind of wondering if anybody ou there can help me out to price a traila , Thhe area to work is 24" high by 34'ft long.
The letters are 17" high with a cast shadow so it turns about 21" high.
I will use high performance vinyl and it will be to sides and color pluse a elipce .
The dimention are 56"high by 8'ft long.
I really appreciate any help .

Well, unusual job. I'll ask Signwriters Publishing Company to add it to their pricing guide. (www.signwritersusa.com). But for now, use their vinyl letters price, at $15.90 per letter, and double for the cast shadow if its a different cut/weed job. As for the elipse, Signwrites states about $100 for 1000 square inches, so the 5600 or so sqinches of the elipse would be about $500 by the guide. Try that pricing for one side, and double it for the next side. Be sure to charge your shop hourly rate for installation.

find out the price of the new trailer, do the lettering on it for 10% of that ......hehehehehe this is how you figure boat lettering....if the trailer cost $20,000 you get $2000.....

How about 10 times the material cost?

I've used this method before and it seems to work out pretty well as long as you add in design/production time and account for rivets.
